Microsoft has announced the 2015 Call of Duty Championship. The tournament will take place in Los Angeles from March 27-29, and will see the best Call of Duty eSports teams compete in matches of the latest game, Advanced Warfare for the $1 million prize. Qualifications will be handled with online matches played on Xbox One.

Qualification for the tournament will be handled through online tournaments played on Xbox One – and broadcast on MLG.tv, with select live regional finals taking place from February through early March in Australia, Brazil, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The Championship is open to all qualified players, whether professional gamers or not, provided they meet the requirements of Major League Gaming's official rules and regulations.
