Microsoft will cut the price temporarily on the Xbox One bundled with the Kinect motion sensor add-on to $449 starting on Sunday, Feb. 8, reducing the cost by $50 from its normal $499 price. The promotion will last for two weeks and end on Saturday, Feb. 21.
The Xbox One-Kinect bundle's price was previously reduced to $449 between early November and early January 2014 as part of a big holiday promotion. Microsoft also cut the price of the Xbox One without the Kinect sensor by $50 to $349 during that period, but recently the company decided to keep the price down at that level. That deal is technically available for a limited time but Microsoft has yet to reveal when the promotion will end.
