Gigantic is the newly announced MOBA hybrid game coming to Xbox One and Windows 10. The game is a mash-up of the shooter, MOBA, and strategy genre.
We got a chance to go hands-on with an early build of the game, and here are our impressions.
Gigantic is known best for its stylized graphics that seem to like a mixture of Borderlands and Pixar. But what good is a great looking game if it doesn't play well. The game is called Gigantic because the objective of the game is to protect your gigantic Guardian from the other team. In order to do so you have to choose a character that comes with unique skills and abilities.
We had a quick hands-on with the Alpha (pre-Beta) version running on Windows 10, and we walked away impressed. As someone who isn't generally a fan of MOBA games, I can definitely see myself spending tons of time with this once it is released.
Speaking of release, it will come out around the time Windows 10 launches, and it can only be played on Windows 10. This requirement isn't too much to ask, especially since Windows 10 will be a free update, even for those on Windows 7. As for pricing, the game is slated to be free-to-play with the ability to buy costumes/skins and the likes..
