343 Industries today confirmed Halo 3: ODST will soon drop from orbit and land on The Master Chief Collection. The company also detailed a bunch of improvements included in a patch released today.
The update for The Master Chief Collection includes patches for ranking, matchmaking penalties, stability, as well as some game-specific improvements for each title. For details on exactly what is affected by today's patch, be sure to check out the official blog post. As for ODST:
"We're excited about the progress of the Relic multiplayer map remake and the Campaign for Halo 3: ODST, both of which are on track to release within Halo: The Master Chief Collection next month with our next content update."
No launch date was provided, so we'll have to wait for the month of May to hit. As well as ODST, 343 Industries also teased about progress on the Relic multiplayer map remake, which will also be released sometime next month. The team did bundle some wallpapers and screenshots, however. ODST and Relic will be available for free to those who purchased the collection between November 11 and December 19.
