Head of Xbox Phil Spencer dismissed rumors of a slimmer Xbox One. Dubbed the Xbox One Mini, the console was rumored to launch alongside Microsoft's upcoming flagships, new Surface tablets and the Microsoft Band 2 at the October event.
Chinese site WPDang suggested the Xbox One Mini would be third of the size of the standard console, losing the Blu-Ray drive. Spencer shot down the speculation of the device, stating on Twitter that it was "not real:"
@av_xz Not real.

That's that then. Were any of you holding out for a slimmer variant of the Xbox One?
