If you own an Xbox One and you're a fan of Blizzard games, you're in for a treat. Microsoft has teamed up with Blizzard to offer a live stream of BlizzCon 2015's opening ceremony on the Xbox One starting Friday, November 6. From the Major Nelson blog:
For the first time ever, fans not attending BlizzCon 2015 in person can watch the Opening Ceremony streaming LIVE on their Xbox One via the Xbox Live Events interactive (XLEi) app starting Friday, November 6. (Details coming soon.)
Those details are where it gets interesting, as Blizzard usually requires the purchase of a "Virtual Ticket" to live stream the event. It's unclear if that will be required to watch on your Xbox One, but we'll know much more soon. Additionally, Xbox's Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb says he'll be giving away five tickets to the event. So if you'd like to enter for a chance to attend in person, hit up the source link below to find out how.
