Watch and win as we play Roundabout tonight on Twitch

Every weekend, Windows Central streams an Xbox One game or two on Twitch for 1-2 hours and gives out free games to the cool people who join us during the stream. It's like a live podcast, only you also get to watch a game while chatting with our awesome readers and viewers!

Tonight we played one of the silliest games around: Roundabout from No Goblin. In Roundabout, you play as the driver of a constantly spinning limo as it drives customers around a city filled with obstacles. Not only did we have lots of wacky fun, we also gave out some fun prizes. Read on for quick impressions, contest winners, and the full video replay!

Roundabout

Ever heard of the Kuru Kuru Kururin series from the GameCube and GameBoy Advance days? In that game, players navigated a constantly spinning stick through a variety of obstacles courses. Roundabout draws inspiration from those quirky classics, with a dash of Crazy Taxi-style passenger delivery thrown in for good measure.

Half the fun of Roundabout comes from picking up passengers and then trying to navigate deadly obstacles as your limo constantly spins around. The other half comes from the silly full-motion video story sequences featuring the limo driver and her fares. The people she drives around all have interesting destinations and reasons for going.

Roundabout also features a variety of unlockable minigames, such as one where you have to keep a soccer ball in the air using only your spinning limo. On the whole, it's a deliberately goofy and unusual game. Watch us play to see whether it deserves the title of silliest game on consoles!

  • Roundabout – Xbox One – 3 GB – $14.99 – Xbox Link
  • Roundabout – Windows PC, Mac, and Linux –$14.99 – Steam Link– On sale for $3.74 this weekend!

How to watch Twitch livestreams

What's the best way to experience Twitch? The Twitch website on your PC or Mac web browser. If you don't have or prefer not to use a computer, you can get the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, or Xbox 360 Twitch apps and watch from the comfort of your couch. Android and iOS both have official and unofficial Twitch apps to choose from as well.

On Windows Phone, you'll have to grab an unofficial app. There are several to choose from, each with different strengths and weaknesses. Only one app lets you search directly for our channel, though. If you use the others you'll have to find and follow us from a web browser first. Read the roundup to learn more!
