Microsoft has once again cut back the price of its Xbox One console to as low as $299 from now until December 26. The company previously lowered the price of its Xbox One holiday bundles by $50 during the Black Friday sales weekend.
The temporary price cut is likely in response to Sony's decision to sell two of its PlayStation 4 bundles for $299 from now until December 19. Microsoft says:
"This special offer is valid for any Xbox One bundle, including the Xbox One Limited Edition Halo 5: Guardians Bundle, the Xbox One Elite Bundle and the Xbox One 1TB Holiday Bundle, which includes Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Rare Replay and a full-game download of Ori and the Blind Forest. With more bundles available than ever before, there's something for every gamer this holiday. Some of these bundles are nearly sold out, so make sure to take advantage of the savings while supplies last."
Microsoft has also announced that it will hold a massive digital Xbox game sale starting on December 22 and ending on January 7, with over 200 deals during the event, including special weekly and daily sales offers.
