As a continuation of the much-loved series of films, Star Wars: The Force Awakens was massive. Shot, edited and released under Disney, it was inevitable that we'd start to see the tsunami of licensed merchandise and video games and today LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens has just been announced for Xbox One. The title is set to be released in June.
In LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens, players relive the epic action from the blockbuster film Star Wars: The Force Awakens, retold through the clever and witty LEGO lens. The game will also feature exclusive playable content that bridges the story gap between Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens also introduces some new features to the series of LEGO games. Multi-Builds will enable the player to use available LEGO bricks to unlock new paths, to then break them apart and re-build as they see fit. Also, when under fire in blaster battles, cover can be utilized to stand against the mighty First Order. This announcement certainly has us excited for the summer ahead.
