Xbox One gamers will get first crack at the open beta test for Ubisoft's upcoming open world shooter Tom Clancy's The Division. Owners of the console will be able to pre-load the beta starting Feb. 16 and start playing on Feb. 18, one day before it begins for PC and PlayStation 4 gamers.
The open beta follows Ubisoft's closed beta for The Division, which was held from Jan 28 to Feb. 2. Ubisoft stated:
"If this isn't your first time playing The Division, there are extra incentives to come back, starting with a new story mission that wasn't in the closed beta. Also, everyone who participates in the open beta gets access to a special in-game reward that will be unlocked when the full game is released for Xbox One, PS4, and PC on March 8."
