It's been a while since we've hear anything about Sea of Thieves, the upcoming pirate-themed action-adventure game from Rare that was first introduced at E3 2015. Now, six lucky people will win the chance to be the first folks outside of the development team to play the title, which is due out at some point later this year for Xbox One and Windows 10.
In a post on the game's official website, Rare stated that people must submit an image or a video showing how much they are looking forward to Sea of Thieves:
"This needs to be a bespoke video or image created by you, which shows us how excited you are for the game. And we're not looking for standard talk-to-camera stuff here, either. We're looking for creative, unique entries. Show us your best pirate cosplay. Try building your own ship. Craft and wear the most elaborate and glorious fake beard you can think up. The more creative and entertaining your entry, the better chance you'll have at winning."
People can post a link to their image or video to the @SeaOfThieves Twitter account and include the #SeaOfThievesContest hashtag. Facebook users can post the link on the wall of the Sea of Thieves page, again with the #SeaOfThievesContest hashtag. The contest is open anywhere where Xbox Live is available, but the contestants must be 18 years of age or older. The contest deadline ends on April 26.
