Microsoft will offer Xbox Live Gold members four free games to download in May as part of its Games With Gold program. They include Defense Grid 2 and Costume Quest 2 for the Xbox One and GRID 2 and Peggle for the Xbox 360.
The entire month of May will allow Xbox One owners with Xbox Live Gold memberships to download Defense Gird 2, the tower defense game from developer Hidden Path Entertainment. From May 16 to June 16, they can also get the Halloween-themed game costume Quest 2 from Double Fine Productions. From May 1-15, Xbox 360 owners can download GRID 2, the racing sim from Codemasters, while EA's puzzle game Peggle is free from May 16-31. Both games will also be able to play on the Xbox One via its backwards compatibility feature.
The four games offer Xbox Live Gold subscribers a total of nearly $65 worth of free content for the month of May.
