Electronic Arts has posted a few seconds of footage from the first trailer for the next game in its Battlefield first-person shooter series. The full trailer will be posted on May 6.
The clip was posted on the official Battlefield Twitter account:

The clip shows an example of the game's graphics engine in action, as it gets up close and personal with a character's face. Of course, this is game engine footage and not actually in-game footage from the Battlefield game, but it does offer an idea of the level of detail the final game might have.
EA's reveal of the next Battlefield game, barring any internet leaks, will happen starting at 4 p.m. Eastern Time (1 p.m. Pacific Time) on Friday. The game is likely to be releaed on the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms.
