Three Fields Entertainment, made up of the core members of the former Burnout racing game franchise at Criterion Games, have officially confirmed the small team is working on a driving game.
The news was announced by Three Fields Entertainment co-founder Alex Ward on his Twitter account:
Work has begun on a driving game.

Earlier this year, Three Fields Entertainment released its first game, Dangerous Golf, for the PC Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The game was very similar in design to Burnout's Crash mode, where the player had to do as much destruction as they could by hitting a golf ball in a number of different indoor settings.
Unfortunately, the game has received mixed reviews and even Ward admitted in a recent interview that sales have not met expectations. It sound like the team members at Three Fields are going to try to back to their Criterion-Burnout roots for their next release; hopefully it will have a Crash Mode as well.
