Capcom has confirmed previous reports that the first three games in the Dead Rising zombie action series (Dead Rising, Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record) will be released for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on September 13. All three games will also be bundled together into the Dead Rising Triple Pack bundle.
In a blog post, Capcom stated:
All games feature Dead Rising's classic zombie sandbox gameplay will include all DLC costumes and upgraded graphics presented in 1080p at 60 frames per second.
Each game will be made available digitally for $19.99 each, and the Dead Rising Triple Pack with all of those games will be available normally at $59.49. However, digital pre-orders can get a discount on that bundle down to $49.99. In addition, the first two games will each be released to retail stores in disc versions for current-gen consoles, with Dead Rising due on Sept. 13 and Dead Rising 2 coming out on September 27. Finally, the first Dead Rising game will be released on the PC, via Steam, for the first time on that date.
Microsoft and Capcom will publish the next game in the series, Dead Rising 4, for the Xbox One and Windows 10, on December 6.
