The Xbox One has had a rough start, but things have been turning around for the console over the past few months. The new $399 offering was expected to help move units and it certainly looks to have done just that. Microsoft has just announced that Xbox One Sales more than doubled during the month of June.
The news comes from internal data based on retailer calendar and sold through numbers. And isn't from the NPD, which is where we've gotten most of our data for Xbox One consoles numbers since launch.
The last round of numbers from the NPD came in mid-May when we learned that over 115,000 units of the Xbox One were sold.
Dropping Kinect and offering an Xbox One for just $399 has seemed to help move more consoles. Sales of the Xbox One doubled in the United States when compared to sales in May.
