The latest seasonal event for Overwatch is now live, debuting a range of new content based around everyone's favorite spooky holiday. The 'Halloween Terror' event update introduces over 100 new cosmetic options, a haunted remake of the Hollywood map and the Junkenstein's Revenge game mode.
Halloween Terror runs from October 11 to November 1, with all Halloween content available exclusively over the three-week period. Like the Summer Games event, all content unlocked during this period will be equipable after the event concludes.
Aside from new cosmetic options, the update also introduces the game's first cooperative PvE game mode, Junkenstein's Revenge. As a part of the new game mode, four players are pitted against Dr. Junkenstein's overwhelming enemy horde.
This reveal corresponds with a recent leak, which detailed the contents of the Halloween event and an upcoming hero named Sombra. While the new hero isn't anywhere to be seen in today's update, this adds some credibility to her existence. If real, we can expect Sombra to debut this November, at BlizzCon 2016.
